This Greek Revival Style home on Elk Street was built in 1841 for Judge Richard Irwin who held the office of County Surveyor for fifteen years and was appointed as an Associate Judge from 1838 to 1848 by Governor Joseph Ritner. This home had been in continuous family ownership until the year 2000.
