This beautiful Queen Anne Style home was built in 1872 for W. C. & E. Harriet Siggins Howe. Mr. Howe was a coal dealer and oil producer. It was rebuilt in 1904 by Harry & Virginia Hughes Lamberton. Harry Lamberton was President of the Lamberton National Bank. The round tower, fish scale shingles and stick-work siding make this a most impressive home. The home remained in the Lamberton family until the death of Mrs. Lamberton in 1952. Mrs. Dorothy J. Love purchased the home prior to 1960. coordinated, transcribed, pictures by Penny Haylett-Minnick
