12. Moses O. Taylor House

This beautiful home located on Twelfth Street was built in 1878 by William DeWoody and rented that year to Moses O. and Mary Adeline DeWoody Taylor who then purchased the home in 1897. Mr. Taylor was a Civil War veteran and a doorman for the National House of Representatives, appointed by Congressman Joseph L. Sibley.
